What is iCarica App?
iCarica is an electric vehicle (EV) charging e-rooming app., which allows an EV owner / driver to charge its vehicle at a public or private charging station. iCarica aggregates the charging stations operated by different operators called as CPO (Charge Point Operator) in order to give a larger access of EV Charging Station network to EV vehicle owners/ drivers.
Can I use iCarica App to charge my EV at any Charging Station?
No, iCarica App can be used for EV charging only at those EV Charging Stations which are in our network.
Can I use iCarica App to charge my EV from a public charging station?
Yes, if the charging station is listed in the iCarica App. as Active; In other words, if the charging station is part of iCarica’s EV Charging Station network.
Do I always need to Charge 100% of the battery capacity?
Not really, charging EV up to 80% is general practice but different manufacturers make different recommendations. Please check this information with your vehicle manufacturer.
Is the platform available on both Android and iOS?
Yes, our EV charging and E-rooming platform is available for both Android and iOS devices. You can download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Do I need to create an account to use the platform?
Yes, you’ll need to create a free account to access all the features of the platform. This allows you to Charge, pay for your charging sessions, reserve charging spots (Futuristic Feature), save your preferences.
What is the pricing model for charging at facilities that use kWh consumption?
The pricing model for charging at facilities that utilize kWh (kilowatt-hour) consumption is based on the actual amount of electricity your electric vehicle (EV) consumes during the charging session.
What is the pricing model for charging at facilities that use time-based sessions?
Facilities that use time-based sessions charge users based on a combination of the EV Charger Power Capacity and the time their EV is connected to the charging station. The pricing is structured on a per-minute basis.
What is iCarica App?What information is typically found in the note section of the mobile app's charger Screen/Pop-up Screen?
The note section contains key details like available charging times, entry restrictions, user access specifics, charging tariffs, and operational instructions for the selected EV charger location.
Is there a loyalty program or rewards for using the platform frequently?
Yes, we are currently working on this to offer a loyalty program where you can earn points for using our platform. These points can be redeemed for discounts on charging and other services.
How do I contact customer support if I encounter any issues?
If you have any questions or encounter issues while using our platform, you can reach us in the app through “Report a Problem” section. We have a dedicated support center to assist you with your inquiries and concerns.
How do I pay for the EV Charging Session?
iCarica supports wallet facility for driver/ owner and money is deducted automatically once the charging session is completed.
How does the wallet payment system work for charging my EV?
When you charge your EV, the charging consumption cost including VAT is deducted from your wallet balance. This eliminates the need for individual transactions for each charging session and simplifies the payment process.
Are there any additional charges or fees when using the wallet for charging?
No, there are no additional fees or charges for using the wallet to pay for your charging consumption. You will only be charged for the actual consumption, including applicable taxes.
Will I receive an invoice or receipt after each charging session?
Yes, after each charging session, you will receive an electronic invoice or receipt that details the charging cost, including VAT, and the amount deducted from your wallet. You can access these receipts in the app.
What happens if my wallet balance is insufficient for a charging session?
If your wallet balance is insufficient, you will need to add funds to your wallet using a credit card before initiating a charging session. You won’t be able to start a charge without sufficient funds.
